Our Baby Lounger is a must-have for new parents. Designed for supervised awake time such as lounging, bonding and play. It is not designed or intended for infant sleep. The removable Lounger Cover is woven from buttery soft French flax - an organic, eco-friendly fibre that is naturally breathable, anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic, making them ideal for sensitive newborn skin. Machine washable, our linen lounger cover becomes softer and snugglier with each and every wash.

Lightweight and easy to move from room to room, this newborn lounger is designed for everyday use.

Raised padded edges and a supportive centre sling, that is designed to ensure that your baby absorbs the surface below. At the same time, the sides are pulled in to keep them on their back, helping keep the baby comfortably positioned during use. Our Baby Lounger can be used to relieve reflux, as a tummy time pillow, or as a place to change or settle your little one.

How to use your Kest Nest

Use your Kest Nest for actively engaging, playing, and bonding with your awake little one.

When using your Baby Lounger, lay your baby in the center of the padded sling on their back. Ensure the baby's body is straight, and their chin is not tucked downwards. 

Please take extra care when your baby starts to roll, and ensure constant supervision. Our loungers are designed for supervised, awake time only and should never be used for sleep

Bassinets, cribs, and pack and plays are considered safe sleep spaces. By adding a Kest Nest to these environments, this changes the safety of the sleep space and creates an unsafe sleep environment.

Clear Signs Your Baby is Happy and Engaged

1. Bright Smiles and Engaged Eyes
Your baby smiles freely, giggles, or makes eye contact with you. Their eyes light up as they track the mat’s high-contrast patterns or interactive toys. If they coo and smile while playing with the attached rattles or mirrors, it’s a sure sign of enjoyment.2. Relaxed Movements and Open Palms
Look for relaxed limbs—kicking feet, waving hands, or gentle stretching. A soft body posture (no stiff arching) and smooth, unforced motions (like reaching for toys or practicing rolling) indicate contentment. • Wash the outer fabric of the Lounger Support using gentle, dye-free detergents.
• Do not pour detergent directly on the lounger.
• Wash by itself; disable top-loaders with agitators.
• Air dry on a flat surface until dry. Do not tumble dry.

Safety Checklist

• Always be within reach of the baby in case they roll or need to be repositioned. 
• Always use the Kest Nest on the floor and on firm, even surfaces. 
• Never place the Kest Nest on/in a bed or any other space used for sleep.
• Never use the Kest Nest on high surfaces.
• If your baby falls asleep in a non-sleep product, move them to a safe sleep location immediately. 
• Never carry the Kest Nest when your baby is inside. 
• Never place blankets or pillows inside the Kest Nest.
• Never use the Kest Nest if it is damaged.
• Direct supervision is required. Babies can begin to roll, crawl, or scoot unexpectedly.
